For MapleStory Classic World beta searches, the current access path as of October 7, 2026 is Founder's Access, which does not require a beta key for eligible package owners. Orange Mushroom and Zakum include this access, while Snail does not. The saved Closed Online Test #2 signup page says registrations are closed, so it does not establish a currently open beta application. Grand Launch is scheduled for October 21, and verified reward codes remain 暂无 in the saved evidence.

Separate the current phase from old test pages
Nexon's current FAQ dates Founder's Access to October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM PDT, equivalent to 18:00 UTC. It allows eligible accounts to enter through Nexon Launcher or Steam without a beta key. The official package page links this access to the account that purchased Orange Mushroom or Zakum. These are the current October access rules, rather than the enrollment process for an earlier closed test.
| Phase or search intent | Status in saved evidence | Key or signup rule |
|---|---|---|
| Founder's Access | Began October 6, 2026 | Eligible package account; no beta key required |
| Grand Launch | Scheduled October 21, 2026 | Upcoming launch milestone |
| April closed online test | Historical 2026 test | Test environment with a progress wipe |
| Closed Online Test #2 signup | Page says sign-ups closed | Selected players received instructions; no beta keys |
| Reward redemption codes | Verified list: 暂无 | Redemption method Pending confirmation (待确认) |

What the archived first-test notes establish
The saved Closed Online Test Release Notes describe a historical April 2026 test. They list general access from April 16, 2026, at 18:00 UTC to April 24 at 00:00 UTC, with early access starting April 14 at 18:00 UTC. The notes ask players to explore, test systems, report bugs, and provide feedback before official launch. Those dates are earlier than the October 7 evidence date and do not announce a new open application period.
The historical notes say the test ran in a test environment. Progress, items, and Cash Shop purchases from that test would not carry over to official launch. They also describe test-specific Cash Shop rules, including restrictions on existing NX and prices expressly identified as provisional. Those temporary rules should not be presented as the October Founder's Access economy or as its progress policy.
03
Closed Online Test #2 registration is closed
The saved official Closed Online Test #2 page begins with “Sign-ups are now closed” and asks readers to check back for future updates. It still displays the old sequence: sign up, have candidates reviewed, receive email instructions if selected, and launch through Nexon Launcher. The page specifically says the emailed instructions require no beta keys. Keeping those old steps visible does not override the page's closed-registration status.
That test required everyone to sign up, including people who had already experienced Classic World. It was available through Nexon Launcher only, and its character data and progress were to be deleted after the test. Pending confirmation (待确认): the saved page does not state a complete date window for Closed Online Test #2. Its launcher-only restriction therefore belongs to the historical test and does not replace the current Steam availability described by the October FAQ.
04
Current access is tied to the purchasing account
Founder's Access is linked to the account that bought the eligible package, and the package FAQ says it cannot be transferred to another account. A Steam Zakum purchase permits entry through Steam or Nexon Launcher. Nexon says one purchase grants the package items and access, so buying on both stores is not necessary to obtain that benefit. The saved sources do not describe selling or transferring access as an alternative qualification method.
If using Steam, Nexon recommends signing in to the intended Nexon account on the website and linking the Steam profile in Account Settings. The alternative is to launch MapleStory from Steam after downloading and sign in with Nexon credentials when prompted. These are the current account-linking methods in the official FAQ. Pending confirmation (待确认): unlinking, relinking, and recovery from an incorrect association are not explained in the saved instructions.
05
Progress rules depend on the phase
The official package website confirms that progress made during Founder's Access will carry over at official launch. That is a different promise from the data wipes stated in the historical April test and Closed Online Test #2 page. The beginning of the current carryover period is October 6, 2026, in the saved package wording. It should not be expanded to promise recovery of an old test character or all earlier test inventory.
MapleStory and Classic World also have distinct game-specific features, even though they operate under one service account. Their in-game names are not shared, and Challenger World characters cannot transfer into Classic World. NX balance is shared, while Maple Points purchased in MapleStory remain there. Those account distinctions are another reason not to interpret access to one game or one old test as a complete character transfer.
06
Earlier test participation can qualify for rings
The current October release notes say qualifying accounts from Closed Online Tests #1 and #2 can claim the Classic Beginnings Label and Chat Ring at Grand Launch. The named quests are [Event] A Strange and Familiar Wood and [Event] Beyond the Unknown. The historical April notes describe these quests at level 10 and level 15 respectively, with the second quest opening after an April 21 maintenance. Those are archived quest conditions and dates, rather than an invitation to complete that test now.
The Closed Online Test #2 page also describes ring rewards for reaching milestones and completing the same named quests. It says completing the quests in both tests can qualify for two of each ring. The current release notes preserve the named-quest eligibility but do not give a complete new claim walkthrough. Pending confirmation (待确认): the exact Grand Launch claim procedure for each qualifying account is not supplied by the saved current announcement.
07
Beta names do not all mean beta admission
The Mark of Beta event is planned to begin at Grand Launch on October 21, 2026. Its name does not establish an open beta signup or a beta-key distribution campaign. The current notes separately describe Founder's First Step, a level-10 check-in event running from October 6 at 18:00 UTC through October 20 at 23:59 UTC. These are named events with their own schedules and conditions.
Spanish being marked Beta is also a language-support status in the current FAQ. English is officially supported, and Spanish can be selected at the login screen or in Game Options before relaunching. That localization label does not set an access requirement for playing Classic World. Keep language beta, historical testing, and current entry eligibility separate when reading announcements.
08
Verified codes and what remains unknown
Verified reward codes: 暂无. No usable reward-code string was verified in the saved official material. Redemption method: Pending confirmation (待确认), because those sources do not establish a current code-entry procedure. Founder package delivery is described as automatic on first login with no manual coupon redemption, which is a separate delivery mechanism.
The current FAQ, release notes, and official package page establish the October access rules. The April test notes and closed Test #2 page provide the historical comparison. Pending confirmation (待确认): no currently open new beta application, fresh beta-key campaign, or complete reward-code system is established by this evidence. This page reflects saved official facts as of October 7, 2026, with Grand Launch still scheduled for October 21.
