MapleStory Classic World quests begin on Maple Island, with further adventure on Victoria Island and First Time Together, the Kerning City Party Quest, available from Lv. 21. Citizenship adds resident requests from Lv. 12, while Founder's First Step is a current Lv. 10 event quest offered by Maple Administrator. As of October 7, 2026, the official notes confirm those activities and several scheduled GM events, but do not publish every quest objective or a complete Party Quest walkthrough. This guide separates current quests, resident progression, timed activities, and rewards announced for Grand Launch.
01
Maple Island quests start your character's adventure
Every new character begins as a Beginner on Maple Island. The current release notes describe meeting the first monsters, completing quests, and getting familiar with the basics before traveling to Victoria Island. They establish the opening region and the role of its quests, without listing all quest names or required items. A complete Maple Island quest chain, reward table, and departure walkthrough remain Pending confirmation (待确认).
Victoria Island is the announced continuation of the adventure, where you choose a job and explore towns, forests, mountains, and dungeons. Its quests sit alongside several systems with their own level gates and contacts. A quest objective in the current client is the relevant instruction for that task, while an announced system unlock only tells you when an activity becomes available. Neither the region overview nor a level gate establishes a measured questing route with guaranteed experience or completion time.
02
Job advancement has confirmed levels and contacts
The first advancement is available at Lv. 10 for Warrior, Magician, Bowman, and Thief. The second advancement is at Lv. 30 with the same instructor, opening more specialized paths. Exact advancement objectives and any additional requirements are Pending confirmation (待确认) in this overview.
| Job | Instructor | Town |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Dances with Balrog | Perion |
| Magician | Grendel the Really Old | Ellinia |
| Bowman | Athena Pierce | Henesys |
| Thief | Dark Lord | Kerning City |
The current maximum character level is Lv. 100. That cap does not imply that all named quests become available at the same time or that a particular activity is the fastest way to reach it. Classic World includes gameplay improvements and balance adjustments, according to the official package page. Historical quest or advancement requirements should therefore be checked against this version rather than copied into the table.
03
First Time Together opens at Lv. 21
Characters at Lv. 21 and above can participate in First Time Together, the Kerning City Party Quest. Nexon describes party quests as cooperative activities involving a series of challenges. This one includes puzzles, monsters, and an encounter with King Slime.
The release notes do not give a full stage solution, a complete reward table, or every group-entry condition. Party size, an upper level limit, repeat-entry rules, and exact entry NPC details remain Pending confirmation (待确认). The phrase “Lv. 21 and above” confirms the minimum without supplying those other rules. Use the current stage instructions and group-entry information before assuming an older Kerning Party Quest guide matches the entire activity.
04
Community Board requests develop citizenship
Citizenship becomes available from Lv. 12 through Arthur in Henesys Town Hall or Roxy in Kerning City Civic Center. Each town's Community Board displays requests from local residents. Completing requests awards Contribution toward a Citizenship grade, and higher grades open more opportunities to help the town. That progression has a documented town purpose even though it is not presented as a substitute for job advancement.
Resident benefits include specialty-shop access and discounts on Cab prices, Storage Keeper services, and some general-store items. The notes do not provide every board request, reset schedule, or Contribution amount. A complete request rotation and grade-threshold table remain Pending confirmation (待确认). Keep a resident request's specific objective distinct from the broader fact that it contributes to citizenship progression.
05
Founder's First Step uses cumulative check-ins
Founder's First Step runs from October 6, 2026 at 18:00 UTC to October 20 at 23:59 UTC. Characters at Lv. 10 and above accept the “[Event] Founder's First Step” quest from Maple Administrator. Rewards depend on the total number of daily check-ins, increasing the count by one each day you check in. Missing a day does not skip a reward: checking in on Monday and then Wednesday gives Day 1 followed by Day 2.
Each check-in day's reward can be claimed once per account. This matters because the release notes also permit up to three characters per account, which does not multiply the event's daily claim allowance. The sequence contains fourteen check-in rewards with the item groups shown below. The day labels describe cumulative check-in progress, rather than fixed calendar dates for an individual account.
| Cumulative check-in | Announced reward group |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Leaf Points (5,000) Exchange Coupon; Megaphone ×5; Super Megaphone ×3; Atmospheric Effect Box ×3; Red Potion ×30; Blue Potion ×30 |
| Days 2–7 | Leaf Points (1,000) Exchange Coupon; Red Potion ×10; Blue Potion ×10 |
| Days 8–14 | Megaphone ×3; Atmospheric Effect Box ×1 |
The listed exchange coupons, megaphones, and Atmospheric Effect Boxes are untradable with a seven-day duration. The Red and Blue Potions are account-bound and permanent. Opening an Atmospheric Effect Box randomly supplies one of the pictured effects, including Snowy Snow, Sprinkled Flowers, Soap Bubbles, Sprinkled Presents, and Snowflakes. Each resulting effect is untradable and lasts seven days; individual outcome probabilities remain Pending confirmation (待确认).
06
Scheduled GM activities have their own entry rules
The following sessions are announced after this guide's October 7 reference date. For the fitness, coconut, and portal activities, talk to Paul at Lith Harbor to move to the event map. You cannot participate if you own a Scroll of Secrets or participated in a GM event within the past 24 hours. Those conditions belong to the announced GM activities and should not be applied automatically to ordinary quests or First Time Together.
| Activity | October dates | Announced UTC session | Confirmed task |
|---|---|---|---|
| Physical Fitness Challenge | 8, 14 | 00:00–02:00 | Complete a jump quest within 15 minutes |
| Coconut Harvest | 12 | 00:00–02:00 | Two teams harvest coconuts using melee attacks within 5 minutes |
| Portal-climbing activity | 9, 19 | 00:00–02:00 | Navigate three stages of ladders and portals to reach the finish |
| Town monster summoning | 11, 16, 20 | 01:00–02:00 | Work with other players against monsters summoned by GMs |
The fitness and portal activities set movement and jumping to default, disable skills such as Haste and Teleport, and give consumables no effect. Coconut Harvest disables ranged attacks and skills; Harry on its event map sells a melee weapon if you lack one. Successfully completing the fitness or portal activity awards a Scroll of Secrets, while Coconut Harvest awards it to the winning team. For town monster summoning, the notes specify that death penalties do not apply while in a town.
07
Grand Launch rewards are a separate future scope
The notes announce the Mark of Beta event for Grand Launch on October 21, 2026. They also say qualifying accounts can claim the Classic Beginnings Label/Chat Ring at Grand Launch after completing “[Event] A Strange and Familiar Wood” and “[Event] Beyond the Unknown” during Closed Online Tests #1 and #2. These announcements do not make the past test quests available in current Founder's Access. Complete event mechanics and the future claim procedure remain Pending confirmation (待确认).
Progress made during Founder's Access carries into Grand Launch, according to the package page. That continuity does not extend a timed event past its stated closing date or open Forgotten Hollow, which is unavailable during Founder's Access. The official FAQ confirms English and Spanish in beta, so English quest and NPC names are preserved here as references. Match the current quest, its stated requirement, and its announced period before using a walkthrough from another version.
